The Power of Prayer

Over the past few years, I have grown closer to God and changed my negative behaviours.

Every morning, I read the Bible and pray for forgiveness and strength for my family and friends.

Recently, I faced health challenges and high anxiety due to cancer tests. Fortunately, Monday's test results showed a treatable condition.

By walking by faith and not by sight, I have been able to cope with the difficulties that have happened this past year.

I have learnt to pray about everything and practice leaving it to my higher power.

Many people are suffering from physical, emotional and spiritual problems, and I know that I must look after myself first, and then I can give them the encouragement they need.

Through this journey, I've discovered an unshakable resilience within myself, one that I never knew existed.

It has led me to cultivate a more profound sense of gratitude, even for the smallest blessings that brighten my days.

I’ve started journaling my thoughts and prayers, documenting the highs and lows, so that I can reflect on how far I’ve come and how much strength my faith has given me to endure.

In addition to nurturing my spiritual life, I’ve also taken steps to support my physical recovery.

Exercising gently, eating well, and practising mindfulness have become essential components of my routine.

These changes remind me that healing is not just about overcoming illness but embracing life with renewed purpose.

While I still face moments of uncertainty, I hold onto the belief that every trial serves a greater purpose. I trust that the journey I am on will not only transform me but also equip me to inspire others who are navigating their challenges.

In everything, there must be a balance.
